Letter to Prs Obama

President Barak H. Obama

The White House

Washington, DC

March 04/2009

Dear Mr. President:

While Russia, China, and Iran have their own interests in the region, and Israel is vulnerably situated in the Arab world, it is understandable that USA will likely remain in the oil reach Middle East, for a long time.

To be able to accept this peacefully, Muslim world must see that USA stop using double standards. If such a change will occur, radical Islamist factions will start to accept USA’s peace keeping forces in the area.

Regardless of what they say in public:

Everyone knows that Israel has the right to exist in their homeland.

Everyone must know that the Palestinians have their right to exist in their homeland.

And the entire world knows that no one should disregard UN resolutions.

Despite the resolution 242, 338, 465 and 1071, Israel did not withdraw from the occupied territories and the Western world, the Christian world, pretended to overlook the true meaning of the occupation, to the Muslim world. Thus, friction between Christian Jewish alliance and the Muslims started. Every passing day, especially after the war in Iraq, this friction turned in to full opposition and gave birth to terrorism, which is now known as “Muslim terrorism”.

So far no one seems to care about or willing to address the reason behind why the terrorist even exists!

It is not conceivable that the West can stand by and watch this bloodshed, unless it is intentional. It is an obvious fact that for fifty years all efforts made for peace have been nothing but maintaining the status-quo, while Israel is increasing the number of settlements in the area that was given to the Palestinians. The West, shamefully, just watches!

When one looks at the maps of The West Bank (attached) it is obvious that no nation can be built, separated by walls and Israel controlled roads, with no chance of cohesion. West Bank is not a nation, it is scattered Palestinian settlements, within the occupied area of Israel, and with given circumstances has no future to become one.

The sparks of the Third World War can already be seen in the Middle East and with the continuation of the present policies it will become an uncontrollable fire.

There will be no peace in the world unless Israel is safe and secure.

There will be no security for Israel in the middle of the Arab world, unless a free and self sufficient Palestine is established in Gaza.

Today Gaza is an open air prison. 1.5 Million People are deprived from the very basic human needs and human dignity. Their rightful resources, including the use of the sea and their natural gas reserves, have been taken away from them. Under these conditions it is no wonder that the entire population does not turn to be terrorists!

USA and the West must stop wasting time in trying to unite the West Bank and Gaza, which is physically impossible, and:

End Israel blockade and control of the Gaza,

Turn it over to the supervision of the UN and NATO forces,

Until Palestine, is rebuilt and becomes self sufficient.

The existence of the rich natural gas reserves of Gaza will certainly make rebuilding less painful to the West.

When this is achieved; there will be no need for Hamas to exist, there will be no need for the other terrorists to flourish, if same humanistic approach is used at other parts of the Muslim world.

Among many similar cries, below is an excerpt from the son of a holocaust survivor, Dr. Sera Roy. From his speech given at the University of Adelaide, Australia:

“ ……….. Our (Israel’s) power is our weakness, not our strength, because it is used to instill fear rather then trust and because of that, it will one day destroy us, if we do not change. ….”

It is worth reading the entire speech to understand why close to half of Israel’s population accepts two State solutions.

Dear Mr. President, as you promised, change must come. And probably you are the only person who will be able to achieve that. Otherwise, if the Great Middle East Project continues as implemented, Middle East, which was once the cradle of civilizations, will be the cradle for the Third World War, with unimaginable, inhuman consequences.

Sixteen years ago I have written similar suggestions to President Clinton. Aside from receiving an acknowledgement, as we all know, nothing happened.

I know your staff read these letters before they are passed on to you. I hope they will have the courtesy to let me know if it was given to you or not, instead of sending me a cliché letter.

Mr. President, I did not vote for you, but I wish you great success with all my heart. I hope you will make the change which the world needs for peace, not only good for the US but good for all mankind.

Respectfully,
